Antelope Valley Free Tire Recycling Event Takes Place Apr. 26

PALMDALE – Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich’s office is sponsoring a free tire recycling event for residents at three different locations in the Antelope Valley from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Apr. 26.

The tire recycling event is open to LA County residents. Tires that will not be accepted include tires from businesses; or oversized, semi or tractor tires. However, rims will be accepted.

If residents transport more than nine (9) tires per trip, they must obtain a tire transport form a week ahead. A tire transport form is available from the LA County Department of Public Health by calling 626-430-5540.

Drop-off locations include the following:
– County facility at 8505 East Avenue T in Littlerock
– Road Yard (enter off Ave. Q-12) at 38126 N. Sierra Hwy in Palmdale
– County facility at 17341 East Avenue J in Lake Los Angeles
