Antelope Acres Council to Feature Speakers on Public Issues on Mar. 19

ANTELOPE ACRES – Antelope Acres Town Council proudly presents the following speakers for its Wednesday, Mar. 19 public meeting, taking place 6 p.m. at Westside Community Church, 47707 N. 90th Street, in West Antelope Acres.

— Josie Gutierrez, Los Angeles County Public Works, Lancaster office:
Ms. Gutierrez will give a progress report on local road issues include the re-opening of 30th Street West from Avenue A to Avenue D, and Avenue C from 30th Street West to Sierra Hwy.

– Dr. Eugene Nebeker, Director of the Los Angeles County Farm Bureau:
Dr. Nebeker will speak on current local issues of interest to Antelope Valley residents, including: water adjudication, animal control licensing, the horse ordinance, drought/ fugitive dust issues, the future of agriculture in the Antelope Valley

– Dennis La Moreaux, Manager of the Palmdale Water District:
Mr. La Moreaux will discuss the ongoing water adjudication situation.
