Following up on the success of his single Bang Bang from last summer, Kieran Mercer‘s brand new EP Help Me Help You, is set to drop tomorrow… but we’ve got a little early preview for you.
Help Me Help You was produced in L.A. by Jon Levin, who’s name you might recognize thanks to his work with One Direction, Andy Grammer and Rachel Platten. The EP has a clear pop feel but it’s infused with hints of country and R&B.
The second single, Hey Stay was released to radio just this week and it might be my favorite on the album. It’s catchy and leaves me with a feeling of longing. Open up, makes me want to dance and Sweet Love has a super soulful 70’s feel.
Kieran is heading out on the Never Say Die tour with Walk Off the Earth and 604 Records labelmates Marianas Trench in March.
Overall, I really like the Help Me Help You EP and I’m looking forward to the March 22nd show in Toronto.
