Tomorrow is the biggest night in Hollywood’s annual calendar, when anyone who is anybody (and quite a few people who aren’t) glam it up for a series of red carpet events.
This year looks to be shaping up to be a good year for those of us hoping to catch sight of the stars of True Blood.
Anna Paquin, her husband Stephen Moyer and her on-screen brother Ryan Kwanten are all due to attend the 22nd annual Elton John Aids Foundation Academy Award Viewing Party. They and other party guests will be treated to a dinner cooked by top chef Gordon Ramsay.
Meanwhile according to ft.com Alexander Skarsgard is to be dressed on Oscar night by Saville Row Tailors Spencer Hart. Hopefully this means he is attending some of the events and not just sitting at home watching the television!
For the Oscars, as of today they (Spencer Hart) are committed to dressing (Benedict) Cumberbatch, Cuarón, (Dan) Stevens, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Matthew McConaughey, Andrew Garfield and Alexander Skarsgard.
Will we have some tux-porn to end our weekend? We can but live in hope! Meanwhile I may dream tonight of being trapped in a tailor’s dressing room with Mr Skarsgard and Benedict Cumberbatch (but you probably didn’t need to know that!)
