Ann Harvey Back Pleat Dress Review*

I was recently contacted by the lovely people at Bonmarche and asked if I would like to review a piece from the newly launched Ann Harvey range. The new collection is now available via Bonmarche both online and in-store (my mom was pleased to see it in her local store!).
I had look through the collection and there were a couple of pieces that caught my eye including a lovely Wrap Dress but the one I kept coming back to was the  Pleat Back Dress* as it looked ideal for me to wear to work.



The shape of this dress is similar to a lot of the swing dresses that are around at the moment but without having volumes of fabric and has a nice a-line shape. What I really like is the pleat at the back which adds a bit of interest and also means it skims my curves. I opted for a size 22 and I am glad I did as the fit for me is perfect, plenty of boob room but without swamping my frame. The fabric is a heavyweight jersey with a sheen so lots of stretch and nice movement when you walk. With regards to the length bearing in mind I am 5'4" the length for me is ideal it hits just above my knee but bear in mind if you are taller than me then this will come up shorter.
I am pleased to say that this dress is available in sizes 16-32 so a good range of sizes and nice to see a retailer catering to a good variety of dress sizes.
