After scoring over 100 million downloads with Angry Birds Star Wars, developer Rovio is now aiming to hit the Empire with a sequel. This time have gone beyond the softwares to reach the physical world by including Skylander-style TELEPODS to the game.
According to Rovio, this game will follow a story adapted from Star Wars prequels. But, thanks to TELEPODS technology you get to teleport whatever character you have, right in to the game by just placing them on the camera of the device. With 30 different birdies to choose from. Rumor is that the Jar Jar bird is going to be there as well. And for the first time, you also get to choose a side. You can either play as the good guys or ”Join the Pork Side”.
The game will be available for iOS devices on September 19th. Still, no word for an Android version though.
