In the past couple of years, Angel Olsen has gone through some serious changes — just three years ago, she was releasing cassettes recorded in her kitchen. “Forgiven/Forgotten” is the antithesis of her cassette days, being more of an all-out, anthemic summer jam. We’re going to be hearing a lot more from Angel Olsen very soon, given that she’s putting out a full album next February on Jagjaguwar. For now, this first glimpse is very promising!
