Ugo Rondinone’s nine massive stone sculptures that are 16-20 feet occupy the space infront of the Rockefeller building, New York (April 23 – July 7, 2013). Ugo left rugged edges on the stone that is decieving – making the stones look very old. In the Gladstone Gallery, New York you’ll find their much smaller family members from May 11- July 3, 2013.

Adding a touch of humor and warmth, Ugo has given a short title to each figure that gives a sense of personality tot the stones: “The Loving”, “The Surprised”, “The Blessed”, “The Thankful”, and “The Interested”.
