That's not to say that there haven't been some big changes in my life lately. The past 6 months have been a roller coaster of ups and downs, highs and lows. For starters, this happened:
I'm not one to share too much of my personal life on this blog but long story short, Jake and I got divorced, we sold our house, and I've been living in a new apartment since November.
I also started a part-time job doing financial planning which has kept me pretty busy with little time to blog or do design work. After a steady stream of business around the holidays, I decided to give myself a few months off to regroup, decompress, and figure out my new routine.
I have hopes of decorating my apartment and sharing some pictures and projects with you, but to be honest, right now things are looking less than stellar! Moving from a 4 bedroom home to a 2 bedroom apartment is definitely a challenge. Space is limited and I have a hodge podge of home furnishings. I'm debating how much time/money/effort I want to put into this place since I only plan to be here 4 more months, but the decorator in me is going crazy!
I did snap some "before" photos of my apartment before I moved in so I'll share those with you soon and once I finish unpacking boxes (shh... I know it's been 2 months!) I will share some progress photos with you.
