Award-winning blogger, trendsetter, fashionista, writer, jeweler, confidant, beauty, lover, "luber," and closest friend, there are no shortage of words that one could use to describe what you mean to me. You've been the staple of my happiness for over four years, and I can only hope I'm lucky enough to never experience what a life without you would be.
Its been almost five years since you, the unattainable-everything-I've-always-wanted, gave me the hope that the girl of my dreams could become the girl of my reality. You, the smart, sexy, independent and utterly encapsulating girl you were (are still are), defied my expectations, and defined my every desire.
Looking back now, I know that many things have changed in both our lives. We moved to another state, graduated college, set aside a few dreams so we could dream even bigger, resisted growing up, and have worked everyday at building a home, a life, and respective (and respectable) careers.
Although much has changed in both of our worlds, one thing has held constant. You are still the unattainable dream-within-a-dream. The beautiful girl who defines the very best of what a life spent together can be. You are the Nicholas Sparks novel I will never read. The one who gives me the "first-kiss-fireworks" every time. You are my hope of a life worth living, and have turned this misanthrope into a sap who would write you a birthday blog. Happy Birthday Princess, I hope that I can give you a fraction of the happiness you never fail to give me.
