I had a very long day. Unfortunately, I stayed up too late watching House of Cards last night, and didn't sleep that well before I had to go in for part two of my interview, which went quite well. All of my potential co-workers appeared lovely, and the job seems like it could be quite great. Now I just wait and see if they call to employ me or not. After I got back from that I was feeling quite lethargic so I did nothing for a while, and then took a nap or two, and then I posted my political drama Greed & Freedom. Yes it is completed, and hopefully everyone enjoys it. Seven Psychopaths a film starring Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, and Christopher Walken; a little funny, very boring, and honestly I can't think of another word to describe it other than stupid. I found it very similar to a film called In Bruges, which also Colin Farrell stars in. I don't suggest seeing it. Josh Groban's latest album "All That Echoes" was released today. I have heard that it is one of his best ones. I have listened to all of the tracks and it would seem that my most favorite is "Brave" so far, but I'll give it a closer listen tomorrow or sometime this week. For Oscar buzz tonight we have Best Supporting Actress: Amy Adams (The Master), Sally Field (Lincoln), Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables), Helen Hunt (The Sessions), Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook). Once again I have only seen Lincoln, but I really believe that Anne Hathaway should receive the Oscar and I really think that the Academy is going to choose her as well. I read somewhere that several critics have claimed that her performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" as being one of the most heartfelt, brilliant performances in a musical film. From what clips I've seen of her in the film, she looks quite brilliant, so I am very confident she will get the Oscar. On the news front, The U.S. Justice Department justifies their stance on killing Americans abroad who have ties to terrorist organizations; very interesting, especially for a very liberal Presidential administration. Richard III of Great Britain, his bones were found and identified after missing for over 500 years; not certain why that is headline news, because who really cares after that long honestly. Well I'm going to get some sleep after I finish another episode of House of Cards; once again, if you have Netflix, you need to watch this series, if you don't then you need to get it.
