Amy Adams

Amy Adams is an American actress and singer. born August 20, 1974 in Italy, to American parents Kathryn (Hicken) and Richard Kent Adams. She has starred in the films Junebug, Julie & Julia, Enchanted and American Hustle, among many others. Adams began her career on stage performing in dinner theater and later made her feature film debut in Drop Dead Gorgeous. After moving to Los Angeles, she made several appearances on television. She was raised in a Mormon family of seven children in Castle Rock, Colorado, and has English, as well as smaller amounts of Danish, Swiss-German, and Norwegian, ancestry. Adams received two more Golden Globe, BAFTA and Academy Award nominations for her supporting roles in the 2010 sports drama The Fighter and the 2012 psychological drama The Master.
