Amla / Indian Gooseberry Sweet and Spicy Pickle

Wash and boil the amla ,covered in the sauce pan for 5 minutes.
When its cooled, drain the water and deseed the amla's.
Each amla will yield 6 slices.
Now with a knife make 2 more slices of each slice of the amla.
Pour these in the sauce pan,add salt.jaggery, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and green chillies.
Cover and cook on low flame, till all the jaggery is melted and amla slices are cooked.
Then add hing to it.
I did this for 10 minutes as I like the pickle slight liquidy.
You can further cook it but when it will cool,it will turn very hard, and difficult to eat.
Cover and keep it aside.
Enjy this with rice,chapati/phulka!!
