I swear the AmeriCorps staff are saints. How they resist the urge to yell ‘It’s in the welcome packet!’ is beyond me. On another note, apparently one of the things AmeriCorps NCCC does not teach you is phone skills. I recieved a phone call from a team leader and woah. Speak up, sonny. I won’t bite, I promise. Oh, and it’d be kinda nice if someone was ever on the other end of the phone to pick up. Number of times I’ve called back? Thirteen. Number of answers? ZERO.
It seems like quite a few people have started packing already. Me? Not so much.
And that’s all I’ve got on NCCC for now.
