The Know-Nothings of George Mason University
As of 2010, the United States had 20.3 million students in colleges and universities. They comprise a mere 5.7% of the total U.S. population. (Source)
But if students at George Mason University near Washington, DC, in Fairfax VA, are an indication, then we are in deep trouble.
Media Research Center reporter Dan Joseph went around George Mason University asking students if they know who Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry are.
One student asks about Putin, “Isn’t he from Russia?”
Another student giggles, “Oh no, don’t do this to me. Don’t make me look like an idiot.”
Although she has no idea who Putin is, the student — like the other students interviewed by Joseph — knows all about “twerking,” the disgusting fad given notoriety by the pornographic Miley Cyrus. The student gives this detailed explanation of twerking: “bending your body, usually your hands are on the floor or on your knees, um… You are in an up-and-down motion, kind of bouncing, like.”
Urban Dictionary defines twerking as “the act of moving/ shaking one’ ass/buns/bottom/buttocks/bum-bum in a circular, up-and-down, and side-to-side motion.”
In other words, twerking is not just simulated copulation, it’s simulated anal copulation – as you can see if this GIF of Miley Cyrus at the recent nationally-televised MTV Video Music Awards:
Cyrus also simulated masturbation:
You’re looking at America’s future, boys and girls.
