Forget about Google Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku and all the other streaming players you’ve heard about before, because Fire TV is the next big thing you’re gonna love for a long time. Why? Well, if a quad-core processor, dedicated GPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 1080p video support and the cheap $99 price tag isn’t enough to convince you to buy the Fire TV, let me give you a couple more reasons to make it irresistible.
Android Gaming
Gaming on a TV set-top-box.. whaat? Yes, you heard it right. Fire TV is an AIO steaming player/Android gaming console that brings killer Android game including Minecraft: Pocket Edition, Asphalt 8, The Walking Dead and much more. You can play with the remote control of pay an additional fee of $40 to get the awesome Amazon Bluetooth controller to play games like a boss. Fire TV already has an exclusive game called Sev Zero.
Amazon ASAP (Advance Streaming and Prediction)
This is one of my favorite features of Fire TV. ASAP is sort of like artificial intelligence for your TV needs. It basically learns your streaming activity to predict what you may like to watch next and automatically buffers it to play it instantly. This means, you won’t have to browse through lists or channels to find what to watch after finishing up with a show.
Voice Control
This mind blowing feature will remove the need to hit buttons on controllers forever. Using the microphone in the remote control, you can browse movies, find TV shows and much more. Only issue is that this feature only support a few apps, not all. But the apps will get updated for better support.
Casting: Second-Screen Features
Just like Chromecast, FireTV lets you use your smartphone or tablet as a second screen for browsing and streaming by using it as a remote control.
Photo Syncing
Want to show-off your new photos to your friend on the big screen? No problem, Fire TV comes packed with support for Amazon’s Cloud Drive, which allows you to sync your photos and view them on your TV.
