Five years ago Australian singer-songwriter Amanda Merdzan released the intimate Into The Gallery album. She has been drifting towards dreamy synth pop since then, releasing a single and an EP. Her new single Matterw, with elements of triphop and stop-and-start keyboards, is a study in contrast, with sparse, cold electronic pushing her warm, whispered vocals.
