Aloe-vera is that one miracle thing that not only has health benefits but also benefits to skin and hair. From that raw aloe-vera gel to store-bought ones, there are multiple ways that you can use this one thing to get multiple benefits in multiple ways. It contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C, and it is highly anti-inflammatory. It can help treat burns, acne, and dry skin. Now there are so many products available in the market with aloe-vera as the main ingredient in it and the majority of them have amazing benefits. Before going into the details of those store-bought products, let me tell you, you can also use the aloe-vera gel directly from plants.

So how to use the aloe-vera directly from the plant?  


You need to take the leaf of a full-grown aloe-vera plant, remove the thorns from the side. Extract the gel and it's good to use. You can use the gel directly on the face or hair. If you have acne issues, mix 2-3 drops of tea tree oil with the gel and apply to the acne spots and see them reducing over a while. This is the absolute best way to treat teenage acne and pimples. But yes, this process of extracting aloe-vera gel from plants and using them involves a bit of hassle. That is the reason why we prefer using store-bought products with aloe-vera as the main ingredient in them. 
Let us see in what all ways we can use products with aloe-vera as the main ingredient or even aloe-vera gel:

Moisturizer: 

There are multiple options in the market of moisturizer which has aloe-vera as a major ingredient. Those are really good for dry skin as it provides the right amount of hydration and keeps dry skin at bay. And if you opt to use the aloe-vera gel, you can mix some drops of avocado oil with the aloe-vera gel and use it as an amazing moisturizer.

Anti-acne Cream: 

As already mentioned, aloe-vera gel mixed with tea tree oil or even eucalyptus oil is a great thing to work on pimples. But also please do a patch test before using it as some skin might turn out to be sensitive to the same.

Hand and Foot Cream: 

Hand and feet are those parts of the body that requires a little extra amount of hydration than the rest of the body. So if you are buying aloe gel from the market, mix it with some drops of almond oil and peppermint essential oil and use it for hand as well as feel, it does wonder!

Sunburn: 

Applying chilled aloe-vera gel on areas of sunburn is a great relief. It not only relieves the burning sensation and helps in cooling the place, but also on the daily application, soothes the area and removes any mark from that area.

Treat Hair Frizziness: 

Tired of trying multiple products and still hair is frizzy? Do try applying plain and simple aloe-vera gel or you can also mix it with your favorite hair oil and apply it to your hair. Apply it before hair wash and follow up with a mild shampoo. I bet, your hair will feel soft like never before!!!
