Alex Rodriguez Suspended 162 Games

Reports that arbitrator reduces suspension to 162 games. Still a big win for the MLB. Clear and definite message sent that MLB had clear evidence that A-rod was in the wrong. No further statements yet from Baseball, Rodriguez, or official statement from arbitrator.
Just heard that A-rod will also be ineligible for the playoffs next year as well. I am extremely pleased with the ruling. It sends a very strong message, especially since he didnt fail any tests. It changes the way the drug enforcement program can be viewed by baseball as well as its ability to punish under it. I think its for the better of the game. Can't wait to hear what the players union has to say.
