By Hanine
Sir Alec Guinness, was an English actor. After an early career on the stage he was featured in several of the Ealing Comedies, including Kind Hearts and Coronets in which he played eight different characters and then moved on to Star Wars (1977) and Lawrence of Arabia among others.
Here he is with Yvonne De Carlo dancing at Shepperton Studios during the filming of The Captain’s Paradise, May 1953. Photos by Carl Sutton.
