Rhythm & noir band Alberteen take another shot at the charts with the double A-side single We Are The Mods b/w King's Evil, a twofer punch about two famous incidents in recent English history: the riots at Margate in the early Sixties and the demonstrators attacking the car carrying Prince Charles to the Royal Variety Show in 2010. A fine post-punk single proving that sensible lyrics can be inserted into a wealth of riffs and books.
We Are The Mods b/w King's Evil will be released as digital single on Rhythm & Noir records. Release date: July 6.
