Remedy Entertainment hopes to bring Alan Wake back "when the time is right", creative director Sam Lake has said, despite earlier plans to develop a sequel failing to "work out".
Speaking to Xbox Achievements, Lake explained that the studio is "really, really proud of all the games we have made. And obviously all of them are dear to us. They have a special place in our hearts.
"You never know about the future and as... we have said about Alan Wake, the sequel didn't work out at this point. But definitely we are looking for opportunities to do more, someday, when the time is right."
Alan Wake launched on Xbox 360 in 2010.
