Airplane-Maker Boeing Working On Smartphone That Can Self-Destruct

Boeing Black is not going to interest you at all, unless you’re Edward Snowden or James Bond as this phone comes with security in mind. Featuring the Boeing PureSecure architecture, the device sports several encryption and secure system features to make sure your data is completely safe within this device. And if you still can’t be sure of your precious data, you can set this device to Self-Destruct to erase everything in it.

“Our architectural foundation is built upon layers of trust from embedded hardware, operating system policy controls, and compatibility with leading mobile device management systems. The device’s hardware roots of trust and trusted boot ensure the device starts in a trusted state, enabling maximum security of data,” Boeing stated in the press release.

In addition to all those stuff for super-secret government agents, the Boeing Black has pretty descent specs inside the phone as it packs a 4.3-inch qHD display, Dual 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 C CPU, and 1590 mAh battery. No word on the pricing or the availability of this device yet, but I think it will probably be sold exclusively for secret agencies.
