Aila Fish Fry (Mackerel Fish Fry)
Sunday is incomplete without making some special non vegetarian dish. I made Mushroom Biriyani and the mackerel fish fry. A very simple recipe with just 5 ingredients.
Ingredients:
Mackerel Fish- 1 kg
Red Chilly Powder - 1 tbsp
Salt- 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Coconut oil - for shallow frying
Method:
Make a thick paste of turmeric, salt, chilly powder with hardly 2 tbsp of water.
Apply to fish.
Set aside for 2 hours.
Heat a tawa with coconit oil.
Shallow fry marinated mackerel in medium flame until crisp on both sides. (10 minutes for each side approax).
Serve hot with Mushroom Biriyani.
