LA quartet Agender channel the sound of the Au Pairs and the Stranglers on their new single Astro Tarot, a synth-driven, fast-paced unrelenting song. Post-punk and astrology are an unusual combination and in the end relying on free will is the right thing to go by. Co-produced by lead singer Romy Hoffman and David Scott Stone (LCD Soundsystem, Unwound) it is a throwback to the sound of the early eighties - upbeat and dark simultaneously.
