Most presidents returned to their home town or state after their term of office had ended. But Obama intends to remain in Washington, D.C.
Reportedly, Obama has purchased a multi-million-dollar, palatial, 8,200-square-foot mansion in the upscale northwest Washington, D.C. neighborhood of Kalorama, where he and his family will live after he — finally — leaves office.
According to Statistical Atlas, while Washington, D.C. is more than 50% black, the Kalorama neighborhood is only 3.7% black. While whites make up only 35% of the DC population, they will be more than 71% of Obama’s neighbors. In fact, whites outnumber blacks 19-1 among Obama’s new neighbors. In other words, like many “racist” Americans, Obama doesn’t want to live near blacks either.
But as Eric Owens reports for The Daily Caller, May 26, 2016, that’s not the most interesting thing about Obama’s new digs.
The most interesting thing about Obama’s D.C. mansion is that it is located 1,096 feet from the Islamic Center of Washington — one of the largest mosques in the Western Hemisphere — where there is prayer five times daily, each preceded by the Azan, the Muslim call to prayer that Obama had rhapsodized as being “one of the prettiest sounds on earth”.

The Islamic Center of Washington is located in D.C.’s Embassy Row, which means the embassy of Oman and the former embassy of Iran are also very close to Obama’s new mansion.
By the way, claims that Obama had bought a house in Dubai, a Muslim country in the Middle East, are not true.
The rumor originated in a fake news site, WhatDoesItMean.com, written by a notorious purveyor of fake news — a man who uses the alias Sorcha Faal, who writes for the official-sounding EU Times and typically cites the Russian government as his source. “Sorcha Faal” is actually David Booth, an American computer programmer who has been tied to hoaxes, plagiarism and other unsavory undertakings.
Never believe anything from Sorcha Faal.
