Barun Sobti next Bollywood feature film is a sports drama titled '22 Yards' which is directed by debutant Mitali Ghoshal.
22 Yards is written by Samrat and is produced by Mitali Ghoshal, Surya Sinha. The cast includes Barun Sobti, Panchhi Bora, Chaiti Ghosal, Rajit Kapur, Mrinal Mukherjee, Amartya Ray, Rajesh Sharma and Geetika Tyagi.
Barun plays a sports agent who witnesses a downfall in his career in the film which is based on cricket.
In 2018, 22 Yards was premiered at the inaugural Bay Area South Asian Film Festival in California. Barun Sobti won the Best Actor award in the Bay Area South Asian Film Festival. The film is slated to hit the screens on 22nd February 2019.
