Isaiah on Conspiracies
“Do not call conspiracy
everything this people calls a conspiracy;
do not fear what they fear,
and do not dread it.
The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy,
he is the one you are to fear,
he is the one you are to dread.
and He will be a sanctuary…”
– Isaiah 8:12-14
I was reading the Bible this morning and the brakes slammed on when I read the word “conspiracy“
On this blog, we deal with conspiracies all the time. We are constantly told all kinds of things about conspiracies. The list of things to fear or dread is too long to count.
I stopped and pondered about how this might apply to people today. The heart of the message is to not fear or dread the things the world fears. Instead, we are to fear the Lord. And He will be a sanctuary to us, a hiding place.
