ADVENT CALENDAR: Dec 24th - James Brown - 'Let's Make Christmas Mean Something This Year'A track from one of James Brown's amazing festive albums, if I had to choose just one then it would have to be this incredible and heart warming tune. Sadly coincidental that the great man died on Christmas Day 2006... As with the last few selections, you'll notice that my favorite festive tunes are usually the ones that form a link between the season of goodwill and the ultimate goal of peace on earth. If we can all be nice to each other for one day, then why not all year round?

A review on Amazon from David Sprague reads: "Recorded at the height of Mr. Superbad's reign, this high-octane, 17-song set is guaranteed to give Santa Claus a soul transfusion--and put a little extra kick into that mistletoe kiss.
