Adobe Hacked, 2.9 Million Customers’ Data Stolen

Adobe, the company that brings you excellent softwares like Photoshop, Illustrator seems to be very weak in protecting its’ customers as its’ network has just been compromised during a cyber attack, exposing millions of user data. According to the company, this incident has left hackers with all the banking details and product serial numbers of over 2.9 million customers.

“Adobe’s security team discovered sophisticated attacks on our network, involving the illegal access of customer information as well as source code for numerous Adobe products,” said Brad Arkin, chief security officer at Adobe “We also believe the attackers removed from our systems certain information relating to 2.9 million Adobe customers, including customer names, encrypted credit or debit card numbers, expiration dates, and other information relating to customer orders. “

If you’re an Adobe customer, don’t worry. The company has already changed passwords to accounts and notified the banks regarding the matter. The federal law enforcement is currently investigating the situation.
