ACE REPORTER 620x413 ACE REPORTERS YEARLING ALBUM STREAM [PREMIERE]

When Brooklyn’s Chris Snyder went solo and became Ace Reporter in 2010, he wanted a change of pace for his music, so he embarked on a year-long project to complete a song every day. These three hundred and sixty-five songs were each written and recorded within the space of two hours, which means they all had one thing in common — they were brilliant products of the moment. Out of those resulting songs, Snyder created four EPs and eventually chose ten with which to make a full-length album, the appropriately-titled Yearling. The album features several instrumentalists and an audio engineer but was ultimately produced by Snyder himself. The tunes gracefully vary from pop to soul to more of an electronic feel, while all carrying a tone of freshness and simplicity. Ace Reporter’s Yearling is out tomorrow, but until then, check out our favorite track, “Aesop”, as well as an exclusive full album stream below.
