The app is available for downloading on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The app takes the support of Bluetooth and location service of our phones. Apart from this, it work through artificial intelligence and algorithms.

1. Through this app, no matter wherever you are, you can check whether you are in a corona virus prone area or not or whether you have come across any corona virus infected patient or not.
2. You can find a tool named self-testing in the app. Through this tool, you have to answer many questions. Your answers can predict the likeliness of you being infected with corona virus. This information then passes directly to the government. This information helps our government to take necessary steps for your treatment and prevention of further infection to your nearby people.
3. If someone tested positive with corona virus comes across your way, then you will get an alert. Further, the app will instruct you with necessary steps to prevent yourself from getting infected with the virus.
4. The most vital feature of the Aarogya Setu app is that it is very secured. It doesn’t allow your details such as name and number to get leaked to any other person. All your information goes directly to the Indian Government.
Steps that you should follow to use the Aarogya Setu App
1. After you download the app from the store and install it, make sure that you allow access to your location as prompted when you open the app.
2. After you enter your number, you will get an OTP on your phone. Just enter your OTP in the space provided and proceed.
3. Then you need to choose your gender from the options provided.
4. After that, you need to fill your basic details such as name, age and profession.
5. Then, you will have to fill the details about your foreign travel in the past 30 days. Make sure that you enter these details correctly. Because, this will help the government to check your travel history and find out whether you have come across any corona virus infected patient or not.
Apart from this you can also give an assessment regarding your consent to your volunteering for the pandemic if needed. Till now, millions of people have already downloaded the app. The government has urged all the people carrying smartphones to download the app and register themselves. This can help our government to fight corona virus pandemic in an efficient way. Moreover, the app will also help to safeguard ourselves on personal levels.
