Kejriwal has even apologised to the people for his resignation. He even tried to make his access to the Congress leaders which was curtly denied by the latter. However, Kejriwal urged the Lieutenant Governor to lend a week’s time.“I apologize to the people of Delhi and the country for resigning midway.”

Notably, AAP formed the government in Delhi after winning 28 out of 70 seats of the assembly. Though there was quite a weird drama on taking and extending support due to lack of number of legislatures.
Ultimately the Congress lent its support. But his hallucination was not over until then. The government even staged a demonstration near Rail Bhavan.
On the contrary, the Congress criticized the government from time to time. It seemed as a desperate wedding where the scope of reconciliation was almost negligible. Quite a good drama was played for the sake of running a government.
Significantly, AAP leader announced about not taking the support from the corrupt parties. In Delhi Assembly all the parties - the BJP, Congress and AAP lacked in numbers. When BJP refused to form government, the Congress offered support to AAP. Interestingly, the AAP government was formed which lasted till 49 days and finally collapsed on the issue of passing the Jan Lokpal Bill.
At this juncture, blaming Congress for betrayal Kejriwal resigned from the government. Now Kejriwal is opting to have the rein again, he started making his efforts. Kejriwal has even apologised for not continuing the government.
“We had a meeting and we have decided to gear up for elections. We will go among the people, will hold various meetings in Delhi in the coming days. We will apologize to people of Delhi in meetings and gain their trust to ask them to support us with complete majority.”

Due to refusal of support from the Congress, the chance has been almost faded.
There is no option left but the election. However, the Delhi LG Najeeb Jung continues to wait and watch.
