Initially what attracted me to the band A Yawn Worth Yelling was the interesting name, but once I listened to their song "Start Somewhere," I was more interested because of the good music. The San Jose indie-pop group has a cool sound similar hellogoodbye or The Dear Hunter, but have much groovier basslines and bounce to them. Now as of more recently, there really hasn't been a lot of great indie or pop acts on here, but A Yawn Worth Yelling has peaked my interest in the genre(s) once again.
