A Wonderful Day

By Hollyshaun0528 @TwinglesMom42
7:25am - Wake-up. Yes, you read that time correctly. 7:25am. I believe the last time Shaun and I slept past 6:00am was last summer during our overnight stay in Mesquite (sans children).
10:30am - Tax appointment. Success!! Not only are we not in the red, but we are actually getting a fairly substantial refund. Woohoo!
11:30am - Lunch date with my husband. We went to Islands, a nice little burger place. I had a Mai Tai. It was excellent.
1:00pm - Shopping trip to Target where my step-mother-in-law bought me two of these:
A Wonderful DayWe also got several of the brightly colored storage bins to use in them. I am so excited! I can't wait to get these put together and organize the kids' toys. We are going to get rid of those two toy boxes in the living room. We may finally be able to easily keep all the pieces to a puzzle in the same place. Ahh...Simple joys.
4:00pm - Shaun's parents finally had to say goodbye. We were sorry to see them go, but are already looking forward to the next visit. And it can't be that long before I can put the kids on a flight back east to let them visit the grandparents on their own, right?? ;)
7:00pm - I enjoyed spending a few minutes looking through the pictures on a CD that Grandpa Richard brought for us from his last visit in 2009. This was right after the birth of Dawson and included pictures from the twins' 2nd birthday. It's incredible to see the difference two years makes. It's hard to believe that Dawson is older today than the twins were when these photos were snapped.
