Sorry about the lack of pictures this week, I've been feeling sorry for myself and just generally being really lazy! I still have a cold and I just cannot find the motivation to start packing to move out (just over 3 weeks until I move to my new place!!!). I don't even know when I'm going back to Coventry for a brief visit because I am still hoping to get a job in Bristol over the summer, but am currently having limited success :(
I am sick and tired of being rejected for jobs...I remember they always used to advertise weekend jobs before I turned 16 - as soon as I was old enough to have a job, everywhere only wants people who can take a full time permenant position in a company! I was more than lucky to get my job at Debenhams (almost 2 years ago now, woah) and since then, finding a part time position to suit me has been near impossible. I basically had a job at Next in the bag last Thursday until the woman after me was interviewed. There were 3 students (including me), plus her being interviewed. I had the most retail experience out of the younger people but as per usual, older lady could work the 20 hrs p/wk on a permanent basis and therefore got the job. I know it's not her fault, but I feel like if I want extra money I would have to quit uni! I am basically going to have no money over the summer, it's going to be just fabulous.
Aside from that, I've actually had a really nice week catching up with everyone and had a lovely (indoor) jubilee picnic yesterday :) I hope you're all enjoying your Bank Holiday and all the patriotic festivities!
