A Visit to Broadwick Silks

There are times in life when you enter somewhere which resembles an Aladdin’s Cave and is such a feast for your eyes that it is genuinely difficult to take it all in and appreciate it. Broadwick Silks is one of those places , an absolute Aladdin’s Cave filled from wall to wall , desk to doorway with rolls and rolls of the most exquisite fabrics , and of course sparkles … Just take a little look back at that intricate lace ( which by the way cost an absolute bomb ! ) , isn’t it just so beautiful ? I believe these pieces of lace ( I overheard this ) were made in France with all the individual beading hand sewn on and is in fact vintage. How wonderful is that ?
