There is something about the way photographer Olga Levien from Levien & Lens Photography captures a wedding that always ends with me in tears, and when I spotted the childhood pics of today's bride I felt like a proud mother about to watch her daughter marry her true love! Weird maybe, but the emotion in today's wedding is so real that you can't help get swept up in the moment! Rustic come shabby chic, this wedding will inspire those who want a fun and family friendly day in a drop dead gorgeous garden setting (in this case Liddington Gardens). Enjoy!
OH & HAPPY BIRTHDAY Olga! xox
when my husband and I met in high school, we also worked together. However the timing was never right. 3 years ago we just happen to both be back in town and he took me on a romantic picnic.
I said yes on my birthday in 2016. He purposed at the Liddington Gardens where we got married. Right next to a man made lake, there were candles and him and his son both got down on one knee and he said "will you marry us".
Our wedding style wasthe rustic look. Susi who was our wedding planner as well as the owner of Liddington Gardens made our vision come true.
We saved money with the help of friends and family, including having our hair done for free, and our invites were donated as well which saved us so much.
We splurged on my dress, and also had Mr Whippy show up (which everyone loved and made some cool photos!).
Our advice to engaged couples is ask for help! Trust me people want to help out and just accept the help. Delegate some of you tasks. And most importantly enjoy planning this together. Remember you have no one else to please but yourselves.
