This is not a new blush or anything…it’s just new to me! It’s my very first Chanel blush!! The Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Petale was one of the how many blushes I bought on my trip in the US. I chose this pretty pink shade called Rose Petale because I wanted something that could be worn to work or out.. something versatile, that’s the word!
Unique powder blusher offers buildable coverage, from natural to dramatic, and imparts a flattering radiance to cheeks. Remarkably silky texture ensures easy application of seamless color. Applied high on the cheekbone, or near the eyes, it instantly ‘lifts’ and softens the face for a more youthful look.
As it’s Chanel, you wouldn’t expect anything less for packaging. The packaging comes with a velvet pouch to help protect it. I still keep it in its pouch everyday. When you open the packaging, a small brush is included. I’ve never used this brush before but it does feel very soft.
I love this blush and there’s no point in writing an essay to say why, I like to keep things short and sweet so here it is in a few words:
- Blends easily
- Nice texture
- Long lasting
- Great pigmentation
- Luxe packaging
If you are asking yourself “Do I need this?” Well this blusher rrp is $43USD so I don’t think you “need” it as such but it is a nice to have in any makeup collection. In my opinion, it is well worth the money and I can see myself using it very often but I don’t see myself running to the shops to grab more anytime soon as there are other luxe brands I want to try too.
What are some of your favorite Chanel blushes?
