My friend Stephanie and I met for drinks and appetizers at Mercat Bistro, a Parisian restaurant in the Harwood District in Dallas. I knew I had to dress for the occasion, so I chose a little black dress, pearl necklace and red lips. The outfit pairs perfectly with the French patio, don’t you think? I love the scalloped shoulder straps and open back of the dress. It also comes in white, which would be adorable for summer as well!
Stephanie and I had so much fun chatting about the new, binge-worthy season of Orange Is The New Black over a Peche Mignon, Violet Fizz and delicious cheese plate. In case you were wondering, a Peche Mignon is a frozen ball of fruit with champagne poured on top- and it’s as fun as it sounds! Our cheese plate was also served on beautiful vintage china. Our waitress told us the restaurant often scouts estate sales to curate their mix-and-match china collection.
My mom and I have always planned to visit Paris for my 25th birthday—until then, we have Mercat Bistro!
