It may be after Labor Day, but summer has finally decided to grace us with her presence. It's hot (hitting the 90s for the past few days), humid and dark at 7:30. It's strange. But as a known hater of cold weather, I'm in heaven. On the other hand, all of our favorite boutiques are happily stocked with heavy sweaters, cozy scarves and layering knits. Starbucks has even introduced Pumpkin Spice Lattes earlier than ever this year! But this is Boston. In a few short weeks we'll be freezing again.
In the meantime, I'm excited that one of my favorite local online retailers has opened it's first brick and mortar store! 27-year-old Hilary Marino launched HCB back in 2012 with just six styles and the site has grown into a well curated hot spot for affordable pieces and accessories. Now, Hilary has brought her stylish eye and personalized approach to customer service in Coolidge Corner. Most pieces clock in under $60 (no feeling guilty over yet another sundress purchase) so it's perfect for all my transitional shopping needs! Who needs four seasons anyway?
