I may never stop talking about A Midsummer Mingle. There are too many beautiful photos! We've even started talking about next year's plans...and somehow I'm not phased by it (uh oh!). Today I'm walking you through the last part of the tour. Every host had their own section of the garden to design in whatever way they wanted. It was pretty much their blogs brought to life. Sarah Jane took the path leading up through 4 arbors as you see above. I added some balloons onto the arbors and she went to town with A Midsummer's Dream theme complete with illustrated characters. At the base of the hill you were greeted with a selection of masks (that she made with her Cricut) that you could use as you walked up to explore her area.
After A Midsummer's Dream you were lead to the eating area as catered by Ramblin Rose, Cocoa Bean Cafe, Mend Juicery, and cakes baked by ME.

Merrilee had set up a crown crafting station based on her new book, Playful, which is due out in the fall with STC Crafts (that you can pre-order here!). She also handed out the above poster to everyone in their swag bags. Don't you love her? I want to frame it!
And here's the backdrop my helpers created with some of my flowers.Blickenstaffs, one of the sponsors of the event, set up a section where you could write notes and stick them in bottles. They are then going to release them into the ocean.
Merrilee's experience was based on her Instagram series, Tiny Traveler Tilda. It's an interactive series where you can help decide the adventures that the fearless Tilda goes on. I LOVE Merrilee's illustrations and I'm hoping (crossed fingers) that this turns into a published book (hint, hint publishers!). Here at the party you could point out on a map where you think she should go next.
Caravan Shoppe, from Alma Loveland (who was sadly out of town) and Melanie Burke, decorated the side of the house with posters from their shop (like the above poster) along with a constellation candle made from Cricut. 
Mend Juicery provided delicious juices

Phew! We made it. I'm sure you're sick of photos, but uh, there is more to it. I'll be sharing my Cricut project with you soon as well as a tutorial on how to make the balloon arch. Muhaha...it never ends!photography by Natalie Norton
