It seems that Americans not only think Donald Trump is dishonest (48% to 35%), unqualified (50% to 38%), and not level-headed enough (52% to 34%) to be president, but think he is also going to get this country into another war. The chart above shows that is the belief of 56% of the public.
And both sexes, all age groups, all racial/ethnic groups, all income groups, and most political groups have majorities that say that. Only one group, Republicans, disagree -- but only 49% (less than half) disagree. It may be misplaced bravado or gross incompetence, but everyone agrees that Trump will likely get us into a war.
The chart was made from info in a recent Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between February 5th and 7th of a random national sample of 1,500 adults (including 1,315 registered voters), with a margin of error of 3.2 points.
