In recent years, the creativity of wedding invitations has reached new limits. Alongside the wedding gown and of course flowers, I’ve grown to absolutely love the details of wedding stationery. From minimal natural materials, to beautiful untraditional calligraphy, to different sizes, shapes, colors and textures! And when it comes to pushing the design boundaries, Adorn Invitations is one of the leading sources for one of a kind creations. Love the Laser Cut invitation trend? Well, they’re known for some of the most amazing cutout designs that work well for modern, boho or classic brides.
As a “big fan” of their designs, when Adorn approached me to feature this beautifully styled shoot, set within stunning lavender fields, I couldn’t say no! Did I mention it showcases some of their beautiful custom invitations, along with lovely dress designs by famed Maggie Sottero and Nicole Spouse. See some of the gorgeous photos below, and be prepared to get lost in so much beauty….
The Inspiration
Let me start off by saying this shoot is beyond your wildest boho expectations. It’s boho meets romantic meets just a bit of luxe elegance. Location, location, location! Seriously, how stunning is this never ending lavender field! It’s one of the main focuses of this wedding and looks just as perfect throughout each hour of the day, which is something important to consider when choosing your own outdoor wedding venue. The soft lavender background naturally made itself the inspiration for the flowers you see. Shades of purple ranging from deep to pastel, pretty blush pinks, and crisp whites blended perfectly with sophisticated golds and vibrant natural greens.
With rustic woods, soft fabrics, patterned rugs, festive tassel throws and an array of Morrocan inspired cushions, the team created a intimate table for guests that is equally charming, relaxed and uniquely free spirit. If the gorgeous lavender fields haven’t already made your heart sing, then these elaborate unstructured blooms with lush greens, succulents, rich purples, pretty pink roses and fresh lavender, definitely will. These florals are effortless and organically free-flowing, they’re everything I dream about when I think of wedding centerpieces. And no bohemian inspired wedding table is complete without crystals, modern geometric vases, and of course horns.
Oh, and if you’re having an indoor reception, well the team put together a tablescape that is a bit more formal and just as beautiful. Yes, the table is a stunner, but aren’t these desserts just so lovely!? Almost, too pretty to eat, almost…The Invitations
When it comes to invitations, it’s the first impression guests have of your wedding, so make sure they make a statement. This wedding look may be carefree, but it lends itself perfectly for so many different invitation styles. Gold foil perfections, modern laser cut designs, florals, or monogram – each of Adorn’s chic invitations take this already beautiful wedding to another level of gorgeousness. The Fashion
As if this shoot couldn’t get anymore beautiful, these brides are gracing the loveliest gowns. For the bride who wants to make a romantic statement, the Nicole Spose gown with a lace back, tulle skirt and floral lace embellished bodice, is just perfect. The easygoing bride stuns in a chic lace gown with an illusion back and delicate pearl buttons by Sottero and Midgley. Then there’s the classic Maggie Sottero sheath gown with embellished lace and appliquéd long sleeves, fitting to the elegant boho bride. There’s a reason these designers are some of the most popular amongst brides!Did you happen to notice the bride donning henna? How cool and modern is she, it even matches the lace on her wedding gown. It’s definitely a unique and modern touch to any bridal look. And how adorable are these kiddos? The little boho doll has got some serious style.
