We had such a great weekend; we started with a little Google Hangout with my college best friends on Wednesday. I honestly don't think I've laughed that hard or been that happy in a long time. I miss them all so much and unfortunately, we're spread all over the US. I spent the best four years of my life with these girls and I hate that I don't get to see them very often. But because we had so much fun doing that, we are planning to do it 1-2 times a month from now on :)
If you don't have friends like this, get some.
Zach also had off work Friday so we made a little trip to the mall; none of my clothes are fitting to my liking so it was time to invest in some new shorts and a few dresses. Express was having a great sale and I had gift cards so that's always a win in my book. And Bubs got a haircut. Where. Did. My. Baby. Go?!
We also had my cousin come visit us for a night and I was SO happy to see her! It worked out that she had a free night between two different travel plans in Atlanta and was able to catch a shuttle to see us for the night. A few Shock Tops and pizza slices were consumed and a whole lot of laughs and catching up. I love my family and am just so beyond lucky to have cousins that are also my best friends.
It pretty much rained the rest of the weekend so we were stuck inside watching Frozen and a bunch of other Disney movies. I can't complain about extra snuggle time with my little fam though ;)
Chinese Laundry shoes ℅ Surfdome
I also got a chance to sport my fancy new Chinese Laundry sandals from Surfdome. If you haven't shopped on their site yet, you're missing out. They have great deals on a ton of different brands and there's pretty much something for everyone in the whole fam. If I'm being honest, these particular shoes weren't comfortable, but they have a variety of styles and brands on the site and I had such a great experience working with the company. I would definitely recommend them!
And last but not least, how cute is that necklace I'm wearing above?! 31 bits contacted me about their jewelry and I absolutely love the idea of their organization. The jewelry is handmade by Uganda women and with each sale, the money goes towards providing them with sustainable income and holistic education. I encourage you all to check out their adorable pieces… not only are they fashionable and fun, but your purchase helps to change the lives of others :)
And that's all I've got today for your friends. Hope you all had a great weekend :) And Happy St. Patty's Day! :)
