February 5th, World Nutella Day
In 2007 Nutella got its own holiday, and this year the tradition goes on.Sara from Ms. Adventures in Italy and Michelle from Bleeding Espresso (and Shelley from At Home in Rome, in spirit) solemnly declare Saturday, February 5th “World Nutella Day 2011″ I recently found out about this special day, thanks to Nancy from Spicie Foodie who left a comment on my Nutella Crepes. This morning while enjoying my English tea I was thinking about Denise's Chocolate Brioche. Then it hit me, I can make the brioche but instead of using chocolate I could use Nutella. Perfect weekend treat. Oh, and it is perfect. The dough may take a lot of time but it's so easy to work with.

Instead of making a loaf like she did, after the second rise i divide the dough in two, roll each ball into e rectangle and spread some Nutella on top.
Roll the dough, using a piece of string cut 1 inch pieces and place them on baking sheets. Denise' advise was to leave again the brioche to rise again and also to have the oven heated for about 20 minutes before baking. I did not let the rolls rise much, just those 20 minutes - I simply could not wait any longer. I baked both sheets in the same time, at 375F for 20 minutes, rotating the sheets after 10 minutes. For complete recipe, please visit Denise's blog and check it out Chocolate Brioche .
