I've had a really heavy heart this week; after hearing of multiple tragic deaths, my heart is just breaking. Although I didn't personally know these families, I feel somewhat connected to them as a mother, a military spouse, and a blogger. I have been following Jenna's story for weeks and Ryan's story the past two days and I just cannot even begin to fathom what these families are going through.
Please keep these families in your thoughts and prayers as they face the difficult times ahead. Hug your babies tighter, put down your phone more often, be present in every moment you're given. Life is short, make the most of it.
I'm off to Chicago for training and will be back late Saturday night. Happy early Mother's Day to all the mamas out there... see you Monday :)
