When I haven't been at work, I've been back in Coventry seeing my family - I decided to take myself off the overtime rota a little earlier than planned because I've been working solidly since June and haven't been able to go home as much as I'd like, so being able to go back so often has been lovely! It was my mum's birthday on Friday, which meant I got to go for a lovely meal with her and my sister in the sunshine (which has finally arrived in England, took long enough!)
Freshers starts next Saturday, which means I will finally have a full house and all my friends will be back in Bristol - excited is an understatement! I am all set for the various parties going on, including a Jungle themed evening, Where's Wally vs Smurfs party and a burlesque night! Expect some lolz worthy Instagram pictures ;) I will be adding to my university related posts by writing about Freshers some time this week, along with some amusing annecdotes from my first year shennanigans...which were almost exactly a year ago! (eeek, where does the time go?!)
This week I am just doing some overtime to help fund the extra nights out and attending training for my second job, which includes voice training from Colin Firth's sister, who helped train him for his role in The King's Speech! Swish, eh?
