I hear you scream (or at least I hope) well, I've caught up in that huge blizzard that comes with the first 2 weeks of university...oh and Freshers! We all knew second year was going to be a lot harder, but it's already a lot more full on than I expected! My option modules are full of heavy going lectures which are super interesting but a huge strain on my brainpower - I suppose it will be worth it all in the end! Seeing as this year contributes towards 25% (yes, a quarter) of my final degree classification, I'm gonna have to work my ass off even more than last year.
I've also started my second job, which is involves tutoring first years doing my course. I was stupidly nervous before my first session but we had a great turnout and everyone seemed happy with what we had to offer, so fingers crossed it goes well all year! I think I'm going to have to request a change in hours at Primark because I have hardly time to myself at the minute, and I don't want to burn out like I did near Christmas last year, because feeling that rundown and stressed isn't nice at all. Freshers Flu came back with a vengeance this year too, so at the minute all I want to do it curl up with a cup of tea and sleep!
I also headed back home to Coventry a couple of weeks ago because I became an auntie for the third time! *squee* My little nephew Lyle is so flipping gorgeous and to be quite honest, I was very tempted just to steal him and bring him to Bristol with me - he's the first boy in our family for a while so he's going to get lots of special attention because he's sooooo adorable. Hopefully it won't be too long before I see him again!
