A Day in Philly!

By Poorva @beautifuljrny

Hey everyone!

If you’re connected with me on Snapchat or Instagram, you would know I visited Philadelphia recently. I was there for less than 2 days out of which more than half the time was spent in a conference. The conference went wonderfully well, and I met some great people. I couldn’t see much in Philly but mainly I visited a lot of restaurants and bars. Our conference was in the Penn convention center. Amazing place! IMG_4465.JPG IMG_4640.JPG img_4468 I had 2 friends with me, and our first stop after our conference was the Reading Terminal market, which is like a big farmer’s market, with a lotttt of interesting food spots, handmade stuff and a lot of pother unique things. We tried the famous Philly cheesesteak at a place which claims Obama has visited them too! Well.. img_4473 img_4471 After exploring the reading market some more, we visited the Love symbol and City hall. img_4480 IMG_4462.jpg We headed to a lovely party where we were invited by some conference members, it was at this adorable bar called Little Nonna’s. It had a super fun rooftop bar and a very cool space. I don’t have any pictures of the place sadly a my phone died there. Highly recommended place if you visit philly. The party ended early and we went to 2 more places after that to explore the area. One was called Tiki’s and the second was a Japanese restaurant with wonderful dim sums and sake! img_4504 The next day we headed for brunch to Sabrina’s cafe , fun place with a special Halloween menu! haha IMG_4542.jpg img_4960 Lastly, before heading to the airport we found this place called Magic gardens on the way. that was the highlight of my trip for sure. a very unique place, mosaic art created by an artist. It is a very interesting place. img_4507img_4536 Overall, I enjoyed myself with all the food, Philly is a fun place to visit, but also super crowded! Have you been to Philly? Do share your experience with me!
